Steady Translate for Google Sheets™ ("the add-on") is provided by Arkay Software. By using it you agree to these terms.
The service
The add-on translates the cells you choose, using Google's translation service through Google Apps Script, one cell at a time. Each cell is translated without the cells around it, so short labels in particular can come out wrong. Translations are made by machine and can be wrong, and we do not promise their accuracy, so review anything important before relying on it.
Plans
The free plan translates 200 cells a day, counted per Google account, and resets at midnight UTC. Only cells that were translated and saved count. The free plan may change over time; the current limit is always shown in the sidebar.
The Unlimited plan removes the add-on's limit on cells for the length of the license key you buy, counted from purchase: $39.99 for one year or $7.99 for 30 days. It applies on the Google accounts where you activate your key, up to the number of activations stated at purchase. Each key is one payment and does not renew by itself. When it ends you return to the free plan, and your translated cells stay. It is sold through Lemon Squeezy, whose terms apply to the purchase, including refunds.
Google's limits
Google limits how many translations each account can make in a day, on every plan, and may change those limits. They are outside our control. When the limit is reached, a run pauses and can be resumed later.
Your data
You are responsible for the content you translate and for having the right to use it. By default the add-on writes to a new tab or to a range you choose, and it asks before replacing existing content in that range. Keep your own copies of anything important.
No warranty
The add-on is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Arkay Software is not liable for any loss arising from its use, including lost data and errors in translations.
