Steady Translate for Google Sheets™
Steady Translate is an add-on for Google Sheets from Arkay Software. It translates a selection, a tab or every tab of a spreadsheet, and keeps your original data as it is.
What it does
- By default each tab is copied to a new tab, and the copy is translated. You can also choose a target range instead.
- Formulas, numbers, dates and empty cells stay as they are, and so do links, email addresses and product codes.
- Before each run, a review tells you how many cells will be translated and what happens if the run does not fit in today's allowance.
- Progress is saved as the run goes. If a run is cut off, press Resume and it continues from the next cell.
How it uses your Google data
The add-on can access only the spreadsheet it is opened in. It reads the cells you choose, creates the new tab and writes the translations. Your cells go only to Google's translation service, under your own account. The add-on has no server and no analytics. The privacy policy explains each permission.

Free: 200 cells a day. Unlimited: $39.99 for one year, or $7.99 for 30 days. One payment, no automatic renewal. Google's own daily translation limit applies to every plan.
Translations are made by machine, one cell at a time, so a short label without context can come out wrong. Review anything important.
