SlotKeeper: sign-up limits for Google Forms™
SlotKeeper is an add-on for Google Forms from Arkay Software. You set a limit next to each choice of a multiple-choice, dropdown or checkbox question, and a choice is removed from the form once it is full. It suits time slots, seats, lessons and shifts.
What it does
- After each response it recounts from the responses in your form, so a count cannot drift, and removes the choices that are full.
- A place freed by a deleted response comes back at the next submission, at the hourly check, or when you open the panel.
- When every limited choice is full, the form can show a line you word yourself, such as "No places left", or close itself.
- If two people take the last place within the same few seconds, the panel lists the late answers by time and you get an email. You also get an email if an update fails.
How it uses your Google data
The add-on can access only the form it is used in. It reads that form's responses to count the answers per choice and changes its choices. Respondents' answers stay in your form and are not copied anywhere. The add-on has no server and no analytics. The privacy policy explains each permission.
